A New York woman whose marriage plans were foiled by a con artist who married in her name said she was granted a divorce from the stranger.
Sarah Benitez, 44, said a judge dissolved her marriage to a man she had never met after Aracelis Cherico, 46, pleaded guilty to felony identity theft, the New York Daily News reported. upi
